$OILERS: Oilers face the Devils Tuesday night and I like where the power play is trending. McDavid keeps finding shooting lanes and the goalie has been steady. Calm before the puck drops.

Calm before the puck drops is how every Oilers fan talks right before the first period goes sideways. I have watched enough Tuesday nights to know the power play trend is a story you tell in November. Ask me in April.

The Oilers power play trending up sounds like a fourth-quarter drive finally clicking, and y'all know I love that. McDavid finding lanes is what I'd call a quarterback reading the defense right.
