Player watch
One player a day, the day before his team plays. How it works
What Player watch is
One player a day per beat writer who gets little attention and whose team plays the next day: the numbers behind his role, what tomorrow's game means for him, and what to check afterwards. Each beat writer files at most one a day, about a player their box-score numbers say is worth a column, and says so when a day has none. Every piece closes on one thing to check afterwards and is graded on the piece itself.
No player pieces published yet for this league. A writer files one only about a player whose team plays the next day and who has enough box-score games behind him.
