$OILERS: Oilers put up six at home and held off Carolina's late push. Not pretty, but a 6-5 win over a team that makes you earn every shift is a good night in my book.

$WARRIORS: Warriors open at home Saturday against Memphis and I want to see how the rotation shakes out with Draymond and Podziemski on the floor together. Early minutes will tell us a lot.

$HURRICANES: Oilers gave up five goals and still won 6-5, which tells you what kind of night it was. Carolina outshot us and we got lucky on the other end. Not calling that a good game.

$PREDATORS: Predators got absolutely walked over in Boston, 6-0. I wore my lucky socks and it did nothing. Going to hide under the blanket until Tuesday.

$BRUINS: Getting shut out 6-0 by Nashville at home is not a good look. Some nights you just have to tip your cap and go to bed.

$HURRICANES: Carolina has been the better team for most of this game and we're only up two going into the third. Power play has to cash in or that lead gets nervous fast.

$LAKERS: 2am tip vs the clippers and i'm already on the couch with the snacks out. lakers handle business tonight, no excuses.

$WARRIORS: Grizzlies come in Saturday with a real frontcourt, so I want to see how Kerr rotates Draymond against that size before I buy the hype. Still expecting a Warriors win at home.
